We built what we couldn't find.
A health tool that connects labs, medications, symptoms, and wearable data against real molecular research — because nobody else does.
Where this started
We've been obsessed with health for most of our lives. One of us spent 17 years as a professional handball athlete — someone who has always gone deeper than surface-level advice, digging into the actual research on how the body works, what the evidence really says, and where conventional guidance falls short.
Building a tool like Kitrus was always something we wanted — for ourselves first. A way to connect labs, medications, and symptoms against real molecular data, not just generic chatbot answers.
But it went from “something we want to build” to “something we have to build” when one team member's sister became critically ill. She had six different conditions happening at once — edge cases that no single specialist could piece together. Doctors were working in isolation, each seeing one piece. Nobody was connecting the dots across all of them.
That was the moment. If a tool existed that could cross-reference everything — every lab result, every medication, every symptom — against molecular research, it could have found the patterns months earlier. It didn't exist. So we built it.
Why this needs to exist
Right now, getting a complete picture of your health means seeing a functional medicine doctor, a clinical pharmacologist, a nutritionist, and possibly a geneticist — separately. They don't talk to each other. Each appointment costs hundreds of dollars. Most people can't afford it, and even those who can still end up with fragmented answers.
Kitrus is like having all of those specialists in the same conversation, every time — working together, cross-referencing everything against the same molecular evidence, without the cost or the gaps. Not replacing any of them. But connecting what they each see into one complete picture.
We believe this genuinely deserves to be in the world. Not because we built it — but because no other tool gives you a deterministic, evidence-backed, complete picture of your health in one place.
What Kitrus does
Kitrus cross-references your labs, medications, symptoms, and wearable data against 262M+ rows of molecular research — and highlights patterns and questions worth bringing into your care conversations.
It doesn't replace your doctor. It helps you prepare so each appointment can be more focused and informed. Depletions, interactions, optimal vs normal ranges, and patterns across time are easier to review when they are organized in one place.
And it gets smarter the more you use it. Daily check-ins, medication reminders, quarterly lab comparisons. Kitrus tracks patterns you'd never notice on your own — like your energy dropping three weeks after starting a new medication.
“Your ferritin is 32. That's normal.”
Normal by standard lab range. But the wellness range from clinical research starts at 70. That gap is worth discussing.
How we approach evidence
Every answer Kitrus gives traces to a specific database entry — not AI training data, not opinions, not “studies show.” You can verify every claim.
We evaluate every compound by its molecular evidence, not by whether it's patented, popular, or conventional. If the data supports it, we show it. If the data contradicts it, we show that too.
Same question, same data, same answer — every time. That's the difference between a database-backed tool and a chatbot.

What we believe
Understanding your own health data is a right, not a privilege.
"Normal" lab ranges exist for clinical decision-making — not for telling you whether you feel good.
Your appointments are brief. You deserve a tool that gives you time to think through the full picture.
Every health claim should trace to a source you can verify.
The best health tool is one that makes your doctor visits better, not one that replaces them.
Important
Kitrus is a health analysis and education tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Every finding should be discussed with a qualified healthcare provider before making any changes to your health regimen.
